THE ROLE

As the Capex Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, management, and execution of investment projects for the Sustana group. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely completion of major engineering projects, adhering to budgets and quality and safety standards. Your role includes analyzing investment needs, coordinating resources, managing stakeholders, and optimizing project management processes to maximize return on investment. You will also play a key role in strategic decision-making regarding infrastructure development.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Capex Manager will report directly to the COO, in order to ensure the coordination of various major investment projects at Sustana.

More specifically:

  • Develop, analyze, and prioritize engineering needs
  • Ensure that all strategic initiatives align with the organization’s strategic vision
  • Manage the project portfolio and provide a comprehensive dashboard to the executive committee
  • Prepare schedules and budgets for each project, considering the capacities of various functions, and ensure follow-up
  • Develop and update processes based on projects, ensuring their compliance with operational reality
  • Meet with different suppliers in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Conduct risk analyses and implement corrective measures to ensure project success.
  • Communicate regularly with management and stakeholders to present project progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical or automated production)
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project management and major investment planning in an industrial field.
  • Strong understanding of program management methodologies and best practices.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
