THE ROLE

The supply chain analyst will support the purchasing and production efforts of multiple sites while assisting the sites in optimizing inventory turns, improving inventory accuracy and reducing aged/obsolete inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The supply chain analyst, reporting to the SIOP Director, to ensure the productivity of the supply chain process of Sustana.

More specifically:

  • Develops modeling/tracking metrics that take our monthly SIOP process and brings it down to a weekly level so we can identify gaps (positive or negative) to the monthly plan
  • Monitor/track overall inventory position to make sure they are within comprehensive inventory guideline
  • Liaison to IT in the development of data collection sources/methods and Power BI reporting to improve data analytics that support sound business decisions in a multi-site environment
  • Supports production managers at multiple sites to help ensure best in class customer service levels
  • Forecast demand and plan inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing costs
  • oversee inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with Operations, Sales, and Finance to align supply chain activities with overall business goals.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, inventory turnover, and cost savings.
  • Prepare regular reports and present insights to senior management for decision-making.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, commerce or administration
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar position combine to an experience in planning, inventory & replenishment management, procurement & procurement analytics.
  • Knows ERP systems
  • Posses the ability to build reporting metrics to track changes across multiple sites in the current month with different tools (ex: Power BI)
  • Continuous Improvement mindset
  • Be an organized and results-oriented person.
  • Certification with ASCM, ISM or IBF (desired but not required)
  • Bilingual French and English

OTHER INFORMATION (IF Necessary)

The Supply chain analyst will primarily work in an office setting but may require site visits to various locations. Occasional travel may be necessary in Canada and the United States.
