Sustana is excited to announce the release of its 2023 ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) Report, marking the second comprehensive analysis of their sustainability initiatives and progress. Covering January 1 to December 31, 2023, this report offers insights into Sustana’s environmental and social impact across all operations—including our three manufacturing plants, the converting center, and eight newly integrated recovery facilities.

This report reflects an extensive process of data collection and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders. It captures our ongoing commitment to sustainability through detailed performance indicators and measurable progress across key ESG goals.

  • Materiality Analysis: A prioritized assessment of key ESG issues with an emphasis on their importance to our stakeholders.
  • Compliance with International Reporting Standards: Two comprehensive indexes organizing indicators based on the Sustainable Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) guidelines.

2023 Milestones:

  • Reduced Greenhouse Gas Emissions: Achieved a 35% absolute reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from 2021 levels.
  • New Corporate Policies: Introduced policies on health and safety, diversity, equity, inclusion, and human rights, strengthening Sustana’s organizational culture.
  • EcoVadis Gold Medal: Completed our first EcoVadis assessment, placing Sustana in the top 5% of companies worldwide for ESG practices.
